I tried opening a file, making a small change, and then saving the file in Word. To this day I still prefer to use the Page Setup page in Excel because it is simpler. It took me a long time to figure out how to do the most routine functions because they were hidden away in different places. ![]() The format was so different IĬouldn’t find anything. I still remember upgrading from Office 2003 to Office 2007. When I upgraded to Windows 10 a few months ago Office 2007 still worked fine. Did something in the Windows 10 update cause this problem ![]() This is the first time I have tried to save an Excel spreadsheet since that time. Just a couple of days ago I got a big update to Windows 10. I tried another spreadsheet and the same thing happened. The copy of the file seemed to work alright but whenever I tried to make a change to the originalįile name I got the same error message and I could not make the save. ![]() Instead it created a copy of the file with a file name generated by some random number function. For some reason it took a very long time and then I got a message saying I had a file sharing problem and theįile could not be saved because it existed somewhere else. Today I opened an Excel spreadsheet, made a small change, and then tried to save it. ![]()
